The Lotto Max jackpot will continue to grow even bigger this week. The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation reported that no ticket from the country was drawn as the winner of the CA$55 million main prize during this Tuesday’s draw of the popular game. Players now can start preparing for the Friday night draw as the rewards will be even more generous.
Lotto Max is among the top-played draw-based games in Canada, and it has two weekly draws on Tuesday and Friday where players can win big. The jackpot of the game can amount to over CA$70,000,000, and once the main prize passes the CA$50,000,000 participants can also win a Maxmillion prize worth CA$1,000,000.
As announced by the Crown corporation of Ontario, this week’s Lotto Max jackpot of CA$55 million has not been acquired by anyone in the country. No winning ticket or tickets were sold for the Tuesday draw. Due to this fact, the main prize for the fan-favorite game in the upcoming Friday draw will now be increased to the impressive amount of CA$60 million.
Not only the main prize remains untouched but the draw’s four Maxmillion prizes each worth CA$1,000,000 have also remained unclaimed. The next draw for the draw-based Lotto Max game is scheduled for Friday, July 2, and the main prize will reach CA$60 million. Additionally, there will be six Maxmillion prizes up for grabs by the ticket holders.
Also, the Crown agency revealed that Hans Lofgreen from Toronto is the winner of the Lotto 6/49 jackpot amount to CA$4,437,083.40. After he arrived to claim his big cheque the 73-year-old shared that he had purchased his ticket at Esso on Hwy. 35 in Fenelon Falls. Mr. Lofgreen said that he immediately told his family about the big winning and plans to share the reward with them.
Another Canadian who has recently won big in the Lotto 6/49 game is Clint Harvey from Sandringham, who is now CA$3 million richer after playing the games. Mr. Sandringham explained that one morning while boiling his coffee he checked his ticket only to be stunned by what he saw that all numbers line up. The winner said that with the money he will buy a new real estate, a car, and take care of his family.
After eight-and-a-half weeks of wait and 17 draws, the CA$70 million Lotto Max jackpot has been won on June 22, 2021. The Tuesday draw determined that the huge main prize will be split between two ticket holders one from Toronto and the other one from British Columbia. The winning numbers were as follows 07, 11, 22, 28, 33, 44, and 49, and the bonus number was 10.
Another case of a significant Lotto Max winning by Canadians is when the two best friends from Burlington Chelsea Prince and Mercy Roldan won the CA$15.2 million jackpot. The friends have been playing the draw-based game for over eight years before their luck finally paying off in the April 13 draw of the game. In order to celebrate the winnings, both plan to go on a trip together once it is safe to do so.
